20062015 Kiran & Terri's Wedding by the Beach

The first ever beach wedding that I'd attended, and what's better, it's my close buddy, Terri's wedding! A beautiful ceremony accompanied with wonderful weather, nothing could top this (well, unless, of course, if the location is set somewhere in Australia, lol)

The panoramic view of Thistle's Pool

The wedding itinerary

There were even kite playing, I barely managed to capture a picture with the kite in it.

I love this board!

I can't tell you how awesome this aisle is facing the beach.
The beach breeze made it even better!

Aren't the kids adorable?

The bridesmaid has the widest smile! A few of the guys were even chatting about her...
"That girl is pretty!"
"Is she single?"

And finally the bride has arrived! Accompanied by her dad.
Terri looks stunningly beautiful!

Kiran and Terri are a funny yet amazingly a match made in heaven!
They did this pose for the wedding kiss!
*Melts*

This was the time of "Tying the Everlasting Knot"

We had our dinner by the beach and infinity pool side.
The view of the place, is eye captivating!

They had the traditional mother-son and father-daughter

This is how I looked after many cups of red wine
(but I think it was bottles instead of cups)

This is a must to take a #wefie with the newly wedded!

We proceeded with the after-party drinks back at the bride and groom's room!

Thanks to Terri & Kiran, I met some new awesome friends!
All the way from San Francisco and Manila!

Look at the food we still had by the end of the night!
Had a fantastic time, that's for sure!

27032015 Kim Seng & May's Wedding Dinner

Another good friend of mine has invited me for his wedding dinner. This is like the third or forth wedding dinner of the year? That being said, it was rather awkward for me to be there, only because my ex-girlfriend was there too. However, we sat at different tables so it was a little better. Still awkward, but it was OK.

A welcome gift for the guests on their plates

I don't know what it states there, but it seems like a welcome message.
I like the drawing of the bride & groom though.

Saw a girl with wicked green hair!
Up to now, I only thought they existed in anime or manga

The highlight of the evening, wasn't the bride & groom.
Unfortunately, this male dai-kam-jie (Cantonese for Bride's Chaperone; usually a female) is so distracting with his ah-gua (Cantonese for Gigolo) fashion, going table to table.

It was a scary experience for me to witness such an event; but the folks there seemed to like it.

Can you differentiate the drinks: which is whiskey and which is Chinese tea?

Congratulations to the newly wedded, May & Kim Seng!
They're a match-made in heaven!
Both are funny, practical and very loving.
As usual, you gotta wait till end of the dinner to take this picture with the bridge & groom

It was truly a legendary night!
They even managed to get the legendary cars, AE86 and Mazda RX-7

03012015 Christine & Chee Han's Wedding

The second wedding I attended in the first week of the new year. Talk about having a blast! This was a rather special wedding; only because it is Christine who was my secondary school junior and a personal friend of my family's. I don't know how we got to know, but during school she looked up to me as an elder brother and a role model - gave me one of the 'moral boosters' in life. I shifted school halfway through my secondary school days, but we kept in touch and occasionally meet up for a good catch up. She's one of the most innocent and sweetest girl whom I've ever met. Hence, to be at her wedding, not only was it an honor for my family and I, it was also very meaningful to me. Plus, I've always wanted to meet her Mr. Right :)

The holy matrimony of the couple was help at Ampang Chinese Methodist Church

Christine and Chee Han exchanged their vows and marriage rings
*tears of joy~

They both gave their appreciation speech

Chee Han & Christine walked down the aisle
Somehow, Chee Han reminds me of Clark Ken aka Supeman
Christine's got herself her very own Superman ;)

Too bad my sis isn't in the picture.
See the resemblance of Chee Han to Clark Ken??

It is at times like this that I wished I still had my DSLR.

Haven't seen her in years, and what a beauty has she turned out to be :)

Me & Daniel
One of the top student in the my secondary school!
Who is the other? His twin brother, David (who at the moment couldn't make it because he was on duty)
Both brothers are doctors, yo!

Fellow secondary schoolmate juniors.
I can only remember a handful of them.
but hey it's still a reunion, well sorta!
