Terrible Thing I did

The stress I'm facing is slowly flowing out and is affecting my emotions. Today,I realized how bad it was when I heard it directly from her (many hours later). Blown away not only by what I read, becoming aware of how much damage I had done, I was devastated. My chest felt like it got sucker-punched right in the middle, my head went nuts and all over, and I was messed up on the inside.

It's not that we fought. It's just what I did. Professionally and unprofessionally. As my project schedule becomes tighter, requirements get messier, I seemed to be losing control and even grasp of what's happening. I'm all over the place, yet I'm required to focus on all the places, which requires my attention (all of them). I tend to become too-straight forward and harsh with my words. To colleagues and even her. I took her for granted, thinking that she could handle it. But earlier today, I went overboard. What's worse is that I didn't know it until I was told. I suspected something along the lines, but I couldn't recall what I said, until she told me. That's where I was thrown back.

Was I that harsh throughout the whole time? To others and also to her? *sigh* She cried tonight, and I was one of the reasons. I couldn't be there, because she held it in until I left. Knowing I did wrong, and I wasn't there for her, that's rubbing salt to a fresh wound ='(

I couldn't do anything but to apologize, not expecting to be forgiven immediately, but with hopes that at least she feels better, even by the slightest bit. Only thankful is that she told me what was wrong, because she knew I'll most likely be hammering myself all night (still doing that now, but not as bad as earlier). I must be one of the luckiest person around!

So many things I lack of, yet she's still around with me. And to have done the terrible thing I did, just shows that I've still a long way to go.

Sigh I hope she sleeps well tonight.

20062015 Kiran & Terri's Wedding by the Beach

The first ever beach wedding that I'd attended, and what's better, it's my close buddy, Terri's wedding! A beautiful ceremony accompanied with wonderful weather, nothing could top this (well, unless, of course, if the location is set somewhere in Australia, lol)

The panoramic view of Thistle's Pool

The wedding itinerary

There were even kite playing, I barely managed to capture a picture with the kite in it.

I love this board!

I can't tell you how awesome this aisle is facing the beach.
The beach breeze made it even better!

Aren't the kids adorable?

The bridesmaid has the widest smile! A few of the guys were even chatting about her...
"That girl is pretty!"
"Is she single?"

And finally the bride has arrived! Accompanied by her dad.
Terri looks stunningly beautiful!

Kiran and Terri are a funny yet amazingly a match made in heaven!
They did this pose for the wedding kiss!
*Melts*

This was the time of "Tying the Everlasting Knot"

We had our dinner by the beach and infinity pool side.
The view of the place, is eye captivating!

They had the traditional mother-son and father-daughter

This is how I looked after many cups of red wine
(but I think it was bottles instead of cups)

This is a must to take a #wefie with the newly wedded!

We proceeded with the after-party drinks back at the bride and groom's room!

Thanks to Terri & Kiran, I met some new awesome friends!
All the way from San Francisco and Manila!

Look at the food we still had by the end of the night!
Had a fantastic time, that's for sure!

Supermin Cola

Was going shopping along with her, and then we came across the customize-your-own-cola-can event. She got 1 for her mum, and I couldn't resist to get her 1 too.

This is why I got her the can..
Her smile is what matters most ❤

Gotta Cool Down at Work

Things are really getting heated up at my workplace, like literally. The air-conditioning isn't as good as it used to it, and not to forget, it gets turned off an hour before we get off work. It was so humid and stuffy within the building that I wanted to strip naked (if only we could! =P) to continue working.

Drastic times call for drastic measures!

20150601 Dinner at Wakon Japanese Restaurant, Damansara Uptown

Felt like having Japanese food tonight, so Min and I headed to DU to try out the Wakon Restaurant. Passed by this restaurant a few times, and tonight we finally got a chance to try it out.

Ordered ourselves some udon and some skewer items just for a try.

Home made udon tomato soup
RM8.50

Apparently this is the better one of the two we ordered.
Had more taste than the other.

Home made udon tonkatsu soup
RM8.50

This is very much plain clear soup.
If you want more taste, I'd suggest the other that we ordered.

Pork Belly Skewer
RM6.90

This is actually very good.
But for me it's quite pricey to keep ordering this,
unless I'm without a budge.

Salmon Belly Skewer
RM9.90

Mmm, nothing beats salmon belly.
It's a while now and I can still recall the taste!

Don't know if it's only me feeling the pinch in my wallet when eating Japanese food like this? These are more affordable ones as compared to the other items in the menu. When I saw another couple ordering a whole lot, I wondered how much their bill could be. From their looks and conversation (they were loud enough), I could tell that they were only students. Don't they feel the pinch too? Hmmm..

Well, this is a rather good place to dine at, if you don't have a budget to look at, as I mentioned earlier. Honestly, it wouldn't be filling for just a bowl of udon and a skewer. But hey, it's for the taste and experience. Gotta try it to know it =)
