23072016 U Pizzeria, USJ 21

Today, I and along with several FoodInkers were invited for a pizza review, at U Pizzeria! You might have heard of the place if you're in or from USJ area. They're even enlisted on FoodPanda!

So, before going to the good stuffs, we've learned a thing or two about U Pizzeria. They've taken the extra mile on top of researching and experimenting with recipes from US and Italy, to fusing our local taste into them pizzas! Forget the conventional Aloha Pizza (which they do serve), say hello to Musang King infused pizza! The guys in the kitchen of U Pizzeria ensure that their ingredients are only of the freshest and highest quality! Best part? It's not that all expensive, and in fact it's rather reasonable if you ask me.

So, let's get on with the food, shall we?!

BBQ Chicken Wings (4pcs)
RM13.00

Honey flavored is optional, at the same price. These wings are great to kick start your appetite!
I wasn't that all hungry, until I had one of them wings.
Wish there were honey flavored wings for trying, but that's asking too much =P

Garlic Bread Stick
RM6.00

These are much than Pizza Hut's but they could still be better if they are stronger garlic taste.
I prefer them with an overdose of garlic flavoring, but that's just me.

U Seafood Bonanza
RM16.00 (Personal), RM35.00 (Regular), RM47.00 (Large)

This is what I would call a seafood-happy pizza! Look at them ingredients! So yummilicious!
Would have been better if the fresh salmon had a stronger tang to it, then I would not have second thoughts on getting second rounds for this!

U Durian Delight
RM16.00 (Personal), RM35.00 (Regular), RM47.00 (Large)

Now this is the almighty pizza that captured my attention from the very first sounds of hearing "Musang King infused durian"!! On top of that, it's with CHEESE!! Lots of CHEESE!! To let you have a visual perception of what I'm talking about, behold ...

Look at the cheeeeeeeeeeeeese ~~~!

Sambal Api
RM11.90 (Personal), RM26.90 (Regular), RM35.90 (Large)

Take sambal and put it onto a pizza, and you get ... a VERY SPICY Pizza! Very suitable especially to those with a knack for spicy food. I was sweating badly with only one slice, but another FoodInker was adding tabasco to it! I look at it and say "CHALLENGE .... nah, another time." Don't judge me!

U Mexicana
RM16.00 (Personal), RM35.00 (Regular), RM47.00 (Large)

I didn't try this, so not much of a comment for this pizza. It's only because they have jalapeno in it! I was like "ARE YOU MAD?!" but then again the other FoodInker was drowning his slices with tabasco, so I kept quiet like a little good boy.

Meat Delight
RM11.90 (Personal), RM26.90 (Regular), RM35.90 (Large)

Beefycheesilicious! If you like lots of cheese with your beef, then this is it! Unless you have a super big appetite, I believe for a single pax, a personal serving is more than enough to tame your hunger!

Alright, so that's all! We didn't manage to try every single menu in U Pizzeria, but we've gotten a taste at some of their best sellers, and I must say, it's surely a must to give their pizzas a try! And I'm not saying this because the guys at U Pizzeria were nice to us. Don't buy my word for it, give them a shot!

A big thanks to FoodInk to the session. Here's a group picture of us!
Due to short term memories, I've already forgotten most of everyone's name in the picture.
But you'll be seeing them around on the Internet, so no worries =)

Before I let you all go, here's some close up of the pizzas again!

Dinner at Uncle Don's, SS2

Usually, when I go to SS2, it's either for Japanese, Korean or Thai food. Rarely would I think about having western food in this area - it's either too pricey, or not convenient.

However, a friend of mine mentioned about Uncle Don's having affordable western food. I was skeptical. I thought either it's a dessert parlor or it must be shop a economy mixed rice. When my friend brought us there, it turns out that Uncle Don's is neither, and definitely NOT a economy mixed rice shop. It's nearby one though.

When passing by Uncle Don's, some people like me, would think that this is a bar. That assumption would also be correct, because they do serve alcoholic beverages here. So what was surprising was not only that I had passed by this restaurant countless times, but also its menu! (You may start guessing the price tags on the menu)

Most of the items in the menu are indeed affordable, and this place is a MUST-try for its ambience, food quality and especially if you're a fan of alcoholic drinks.

Oh ya, the place has a no-smoking policy between certain hours (I think it's from 10am to 9.30pm?). So if you're seated indoors, you won't have to worry about smoking drinkers disrupting you from having a good meal (unless you love the smell of cigarettes).

Uncle Don's tagline:
With a rustic-chic, chilled-out design, this diner, bar & grill is designed to cater 5-star quality food & beverage at insanely cheap pricing!

I'd definitely recommend coming to this place (more than once) to try out their menu!

Happy Valentine's Day My Love!

Isn't the first one I spend without my girlfriend by my side (well, there's always that one "girl" that I always spend it with, and that is my mum =P ), but this year didn't feel that way. Though she's hundreds of kilometres across the sea, it felt as if she was just around the corner. I guess it helps on the constant texting and the feeling I have for her =)

I looked back at the pictures we took over the past few months, and I had the same thoughts as I did much earlier in our relationship - It felt as if we've known each other for a long while. While I won't dare to say that I'm all perfect, but what I'm very sure of, is that I've gotten better since I knew her.

Our Times - Possibly The Best Couple Movie of All Time

I'm not quite the type to watch a movie of which its language I'm not familiar with, but after hearing a few of my friends opinion about it. I decided to watch it and figured that she might like it too. So, I told her to make time, because we're gonna watch after work.

Taken from onehallyu.com

Watching the movie at first, I was being skeptical with thoughts of how could such a movie be that good. The introduction was alright, but the turning point for it is when they went back into time. The longer I watch, the more I like it and I paid much more attention to the characters portraying the emotions. They were very genuine.

Without realizing much, I was turning more emotional and nostalgic. I could relate to almost every part of the movie, especially on the part where it showed about high school activities. Even included the puppy love, which I'm sure almost everyone I know would have had some experienced in it (otherwise, they pretty much didn't have a life back then =P ).

Towards the end, I had mixed feelings of joy, sorrow and touched feelings. After a while, I was overwhelmed and I couldn't hold back my manly tears, and let it go... I was also surprised by the special casting by some really unexpected actors! All I can say is bravo to the director and producer of this movie! The cast were also amazing!

This movie, Our Times, is a definitely must-watch movie!

25072015 Big Bang Concert in Malaysia!

It's finally concert day! After the long wait, we're finally going to see Big Bang live in person! And even better, Min & I won ourselves sound-check passes (means we get to see them do a rehearsal before the main event!) OMGOSH! Never have I been this lucky!! Amazingly I didn't expect myself to be this excited!

Because of the sound-check passes, Min & I had to be there early to collect them. When we got there, there were quite a number of people at the venue already. Talk about being early, lol.

Take a good look at it =D
Hehehe

Min's excited about it!

Queuing up for the sound-check!

Wait there's another queue... for the subway!

And then another queue within the stadium, just outside the stage area.

Finally, we got in.
However, Min and I got separated, so we were standing at different places.

While I looked for me, I had to selfie first.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance!

Panoramic view of how it looks like from front to back.

Big Bang appears on stage!

Look at all the pretty lights! This is just a small part of what's to be expected from their later on.

Seungri being very sporting, allowing us to take close up pictures of him!

Taeyang too! See him posing there? xD

The sound-check only lasted about 15-20 minutes?!!
And I finally found Min. It is a must to take a selfie again!
Hehe =D

Banana Chocolate 'pancake'
I got quite hungry but had no idea what I want to eat (besides the buns which I had bought much earlier in the morning). Saw this unique looking food, and ordered myself one of it.

Then, it was time for us to go into the concert stage area.
Again, this is not to be missed! =D

Panoramic view from where we were seated.
We were actually very close to the stage!

Showtime baby!

Showing off Min's lightstick!

They're not only good looking, but their performance is amazing!

G-Dragon style!

T.O.P

The 'bridge' actually separates and combines again!

G-Dragon peace sign!

Big Bang

We: Min & I
MUST TAKE! lol

The concert experience is indescribable. Dae-bak! Even that word doesn't come close to expressing how I felt after the concert. I was more than excited, amazed, happy, thrilled and hungry. So, naturally the first thing I wanted to do is to get some food for the both of us.

Went to Cafe Korea in Sri Petaling and ordered us some delightful light bites =)

Fried Chicken (honey coated)
RM12.90

Kimchi Pancake (new item)
RM8

Cheese Sticks (looks like popiah stuffed with cheese)
RM6.90
